One of the close neighbours of Methodist Church House is the Islamic Cultural Centre and London Central Mosque in Regents Park. On 21 June I was invited to attend the Exhibition Islam that was being hosted at the mosque. Exhibition Islam is a registered UK charity and provides mobile, museum style displays to raise a greater understanding of Islam. The also provide a range of publications.
The exhibition at the London Central Mosque has a variety of Muslim exhibits of various kinds, although some I was unable to photograph due to their age and sensitivity to light.
The exhibition was opened in the morning, one of the speakers being the Revd Dr Marcus Braybroke who is President of the World Congress of Faiths and is pictured here with one of the organisers of the exhibition
